4HI am opened its doors to the Central Highlands on November the 30th 1981. Since then the whole community has been behind the station.
We cover the whole of the Bowen Basin with a potential listening audience of 68,000 people.
Many people don't realise that our service area extends south to Rollestone, north to Moranbah and Goonyella, west to Alpha and east to Dingo.
The Central Highlands is a healthy mix of mining, agriculture and large regional centres.
We're a part of the Smart Radio Group and fiercly proud proud of our role as broadcaster and program makers for the approximately 60% of regional Queensland we cover.
